Authorities in South Korea have launched a comprehensive investigation into recent drone operations that allegedly crossed into North Korean territory. On Tuesday, investigators conducted searches at multiple intelligence and military locations as part of an ongoing inquiry into the incident, which has heightened tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

The investigation centers around a drone that was reportedly downed over the North Korean city of Kaesong earlier in the year. President Lee Jae-myung has implemented measures such as removing propaganda loudspeakers along the border, and has expressed caution regarding public commentary on the drone investigations, citing concerns about political polarization.
